A second helping of recent shots for CRS
Although the weather has been somewhat 'indifferent' this week, find 5 shots enclosed of what is now our staple GWR 'diet' regarding non Unit traction in Cornwall captured on a couple of Jolly's this week around and about Cornwall
All the Best, Andrew.
Many thanks Andrew - glad you had a good holiday.

Yesterday morning - 15th August 2019.  BR Green 37057 at Westbury today providing traction for a bi-annual visit of the Structure Gauging and Ultrasonic Test Train to the Weymouth line today.  This followed a trip over the same route yesterday by the two Colas class 67s (67023 & 67027) on the ''Plain Line Pattern Recognition'' test train.
Cheers for now.  Guy Vincent.

Later in the day Guy had moved to Melksham - see below. Many thanks Guy.

GBRF 66's 66722 'Sir Edward Watkin' and 66725 'Sunderland' double-heading a military train loaded with army vehicles passing through Melksham on the single track 'Trans Wilts' line between Chippenham and Trowbridge.  This rare working was a special  0138 Carlisle Network Yard-Warminster Beechgrove Sidings (6V64) and it arrived at it's destination at 1540.
     With best regards, Guy Vincent.
Very many thanks to you Guy.

History at
Tavistock Junction
Alan Peters

Colas Rail Freight class 70 sits in the shed at Tavistock Junction, this view was taken on 13th February 2018 and see's 70808 at Tavi for an exam, unfortunately Colas Rail Freight has pulled out of Tavistock Junction and class 70's will no longer visit for maintenance. The Colas portacabin office has now been removed and the old derelict former EWS mess block demolished.  All the best, Alan Peters.     Many thanks Alan
