Carbis Bay

A skipper seen at Carbis Bay on a service to St Erth. Copyright Andrew Thompson. The station building was at the top of the slope leading up from the platform. The name of the station used to be smartly picked out in white painted stones on cutting face opposite the platform. At one time there was a superb view from train at this location, alas all one sees nowadays is the back of some rather mundane flats.
