On a glorious sunny morning 46100 'Royal Scot' passes Rockstone Bridge on the sea wall with the 1Z27 09.07 Bristol TM  - Kingswear  'English Riviera Express'. Green liveried 47853 was on the rear. What a lovely sight.

On the
Somerset Levels
Bill Elston

Plenty of sun over the Somerset Levels today (13th June 2021), and trains to point my camera at.

First, an engineer,s train returning to Fairwater Yd from Ruscombe ( near Reading ), t - n-t by Freightliner  66951 and 66561, then
a working from Lostwithial to Westbury, t-n-t  by Colas 66846 and 66848, and finally, a weedkilling train t-n-t by  DB 66140 and 66120, working from Didcot to St Blazey.   Six for the price of three!
The first train seen at Oath, the other two were at Wick

​Above, 50011 1430 Paddington to Paignton 1B90 Exeter St Davids 16 June 1979.This loco one of the last to be was named. Finally named on 17 September 1979. It was the first to be withdrawn on 24 Feb 1987
