Over at Langport today for the 1Z27 steam hauled Bristol to Plymouth, featuring 46100 ROYAL SCOT, and 70000 BRITANNIA, and are seen crossing Langport Viaduct. Later in the morning a track machine turned up, closely followed by 66953 on 6C73 ballast train, both running from Westbury to Taunton. It’s a lovely spot where the main line crosses the River Parrett.
Best regards Bill. P S There are some more phots from Yeovil Pen Mill to follow shortly.  And they did!
