A peep through the trees at
Restormel

Hi Keith,
Please find attached two shots taken at Restormel on Tuesday afternoon, which was absolutely beautiful.
There is currently a gap in the undergrowth allowing a terrific view of the railway from the road below Restormel castle - both shots were taken from this location. The HST is the 1417 Plymouth - Penzance, and the IET is the rear of the 1415 Penzance - Paddington.

Creech & Oath

Two very different trains through Taunton today;

First, 66561 on a Westbury to Fairwater yd conveying new sleepers, seen at Creech st Michael, arriving at about midday, and then
at about 15.00 through Oath, the Royal Train passed, heading for Cornwall,  T-n-t by 67005 and 67006   G7-related ?

The Queen left the Royal Train at St Austell for the special event at the Eden Project.  The train was stabled at Burngullow.
