The remains of the North Cornwall Line photographed by Andrew Triggs in July 1995
I also enclose a couple of non train shots taken at a very high tide at Golant
Note the state of the road when the tide is this high!!!
Still we had a very nice meal at the Fishermans arm pub.
Best regards, Ron Westwater. Many thanks Ron.
It was mainly a diesel day, with only 'U' 2-6-0 31806 in steam.
All the steam locos were at Swanage, with maintenance being carried out
on 30053 & 80104, the rest were dead in the sidings.
The through trip from Wareham to Swanage and back with top'n'tailed diesels made it a very enjoyable visit. cheers JOHN C.
Many thanks John - very interesting
