I've just spent hours viewing your fantastic site, of all extinct rail routes.
At Hayle Wharf I have spotted an old warning sign regarding crane jib height to avoid overhead cables and also a 15 MPH sign at the entrance to the kick back mentioned, that is now used to store lobster pots. Both signs are still there This sign though is mounted 20 feet in the air, any idea why?
That's me on the Helston Railway Preservation pictures looking down at the remains of old Truthall halt platform. Regards Ewan Baxter. It's amazing what there is still to be found. Many thanks Ewan for spotting these items and sending in the pictures.
