Many Thanks Bill Lynton & Barnstaple Railway James Brown I enjoyed a visit to the wonderful Lynton and Barnstaple Railway today and had the pleasure of making the most of some sunshine whilst taking in picturesque views from the nostalgic experience offered by the L&B. Well worth a visit. NOTE how dirty the leading loco is - including the driver's side window!!! The station announcer said that this was a 10-car train. First 5-cars were going to terminate at Swansea and then rear 5-cars were going on, after reversal, to Carmarthen. The station announcer stated that one needed to get into the first 5-car section for Carmarthen BUT as you can see the train consisted of ONE 5-car unit!! With the driver's tea on the front??? However, the driver switched off the white lights, turned on the red lights more than once. My good friend, Colin, said that the driver was rebooting the system.
