My name is James and, living in Hampshire, there is not often very much I can contribute to the website regarding the Cornish railway scene (although I have noted your recent Southampton piece with keen interest). However, I am on a break down in the west country for the week and was lucky enough to capture this shot of the HST powercar 43152 at Bodmin Parkway alongside GWR 4247. I’m sure you have plenty like this one so don’t worry if you don’t want to use it; however, I have been a long-term admirer of the website and the good work the society does and thought I’d contribute what I can.
Thank you and keep up the excellent work.
All the best, James
Thank you James and also it is with thanks to our many subscribers that we try to keep up the interest.
